Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Nation Shrine in Washington, D.C.

Join Deacon Dale DiSanto of St. Angela Merici Parish and other pilgrims from the eight parishes here in the McKeesport Area as we travel to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.  The pilgrimage will be on Saturday, September 15th.  The bus for the entire district will pick up passengers at St. Angela Merici in White Oak and St. Robert Bellarmine in East McKeesport.  Buses usually depart around 6AM and return home from Washington around 10PM.  The cost of the trip is $70.  This amount covers the cost of the bus, a breakfast treat bag, and a box lunch which will be provided on the bus for our return trip home.  The prayer books for the pilgrimage prayers and the Mass will also be included.  While in Washington, D.C., lunch will be available at the National Shrine at your expense.  There will be time to tour the Shrine, the gift shops, and possibly the Saint John Paul II Center.  Afterwards our own Bishop David Zubik will celebrate Mass during the afternoon.  After the afternoon Mass, we will board the buses for our return trip home.  The bus will accommodate 55 passengers and seats will be on a first come basis.  Reservations can be made by calling St. Angela Merici Office at 412-672-9641.  A check for $70 must accompany your reservation in order to hold your seat.  Checks should be made payable to St. Angela Merici Church with pilgrimage posted in the memo section.
